Experience life in the China as a GILA and GIDA foreign exchange teachers!
Each year, more than 100 teaqchers from over 40 countries experience Chinese from a unique perspective. They participate in the Golden International Dance Academy (GIDA) and Golden International Language Academy (GILA) program, where they attend a GILA and GIDA full time exchange teacher and join GILA and GIDA exchange teacher program and a caring Chinese family.
GILA and GIDA exchange teachers share their customs and cultures with their Chinese host families and new Chinese friends. In return, they receive a lifetime of treasured memories and friendships and gain a special understanding of the Chinese traditional dance, Putonghuan, and Chinese cultural diversity.

You will attend GIDA and GILA in Beijing of China
You will attend GIDA and GILA as full time exchange teacher and will join home-stay communities selected for the Academic Year in GILA and GIDA program have excellent academic quality that provide a valuable educational experience.
GIDA and GILA offer short period or long period Dance or Putonghua training or Academic Years an interdisciplinary approach to education, which means that teachers can take a variety of courses in Putonghua, Chinese traditional dance, Chinese history and etc. and we can arrange you to teach English language and Latin dance or Ballet, Flamenco, Belly and etc in GIDA and GILA.
Your Classes
GIDA and GILA monitor your program performance and quarterly grades. You are subject to the same academic and social rules as Chinese teachers in the academy. Teachers and guidance counselors are asked to contact your and host family immediately if problems arise.
To remain in good standing in the program, a exchange teacher must enroll in an appropriate Chinese dance, Chinese culture, Chinese language or literature course and a Chinese Studies course, lesson course and maintain or better average in all classes and lessons;

* GIDA and GILA require its exchange teacher to take at least for academic subjects, always including a Chinese language, literature/write course and a course Physical education and Electives courses and will arrange to teach 10 lessons per week.
Admission: 10 teachers
Program Fee $1,000.00/per teacher with the period
This fee covers teaching, books and tapes, housing, orientation, and excursions and cultural activities. It does not cover airfare, visa fees, accident/medical insurance, some meals and house during the 4-weeks travel break, and personal expenses. This listing is intended to summarize possible charges that could be incurred against a students account. Certain charges are dependent upon specific circumstances, as noted.
1. Textbooks are included in the program fee.
2. The application fee for program is 1000 RMB.
