[HSK(Secretary)] is as a national standard professional Chinese language proficiency test and no secretary professional knowledge is involved in it.
1. Who can take the [HSK(Secretary)] test?
The test taker whose first language is not Chinese and HSK score is or above HSK level 3 is qualified to take the [HSK(Secretary)] test.?
2. The use of the [HSK(Secretary)]
The [HSK(Secretary)] test serves internationally for all kinds of institutions which need to evaluate their secretaries Chinese proficiency. The main uses of the test are:To provide the companies, organizations and institutions with the reference to evaluate the Chinese proficiency of their secretaries during the judgment of recruiting, selecting and training.To provide the academic schools and universities with reference to evaluate the students¡¯ Chinese proficiency as secretaries during the process of enrollment or class division.To provide the Chinese language learners with reference to know and develop their own Chinese proficiency level as secretaries.To provide reference to evaluate the teaching and training result of the education and training institutions.

The [HSK(Secretary)] is rated in 5 levels.
Level 1 Examinees at this level are not capable of using Chinese while working as secretaries.
Level 2 Examinees at this level can use simple Chinese to do limited communication while working as secretaries.
Level 3 Examinees at this level can use Chinese effectively while working as secretaries.
Level 4 Examinees at this level can use Chinese well while working as secretaries.
Level 5 Examinees at this level can use Chinese appropriately and naturally while working as secretaries.
5. Performance and certificate
The perfect scores of listening comprehension, reading & language knowledge, writing and spoken Chinese are 100 respectively, totally 400. The corresponding relationship between performance and level are as follows:
Score 0-80: level 1 Score 81-160: level 2 Score 161-240: level 3 Score 241-320: level 4 Score 321-400: level 5.
Each examinee can get his (her) report if attending HSK (secretary) based on the test requirements. He (She), who has passed the test, can get the corresponding certificate of Level Level 4, Level 3 or Level 2.
